App Store Description

Are you tired of having to look up the water filter for your refrigerator? Or the size of the furnace filter? Or the type of ink your printer needs? The tire pressure for your car? Your favorite recipe from a book? The list goes on and on.

Save My Specs will allow you to input the information you want to know, and have it available for future reference – just by opening the app when you need it.

1) Start by choosing something you want to keep information about. Let’s take a printer as an example. List your printer as the name of the “Item.”

2) You can put that Item into a “category” for easier searching later on. (Maybe the printer gets categorized under “Technology,” or “Printers.”)

3) In the Spec box you will list what you want to save (or know) about this Printer. For example, you might want to know the Model Number. List “Model Number” under Spec, and list the Number (i.e. HP Envy Pro 6458) as the “value.” You might also want to know the type of ink needed for the printer. “Ink” can be the Spec, with “HP 67” as the Value. An easier way to think of this might be - the Spec is “what you want to Know,” and the Value is the “Answer.” (Tire Pressure = 33psi)

4) You will be able to take a photo of the item or insert a photo from your gallery. You will be able to take more than one photo, but only one will show on the category summary. Your item summary will show all photos.

5) You can also tag items for easier searching later on. This will make it easier to find your information should you have a significant number of items.

6) Once your information has been entered, you can tap on an item and see the Summary of information for that item.

7) You also have the options of controlling font size and the layout for your items.
