Our service, Shoptrip, allows tourists visiting Japan to claim their tax refund electronically.
To request a tax refund with Shoptrip, follow the steps below.
1. Register your passport and immigration information in the app to generate a tax refund barcode.
2. Show your tax refund barcode to the cashier when shopping.
3. Enjoy your tax refund amount!

There are three important tab menus.
Refund tab menu-This is where you can register your passport and entry information in the app to generate a tax refund barcode. You can also check the weather, exchange rate, and total refundable amount in this tabbed menu.
Receipts tab menu-this is where you can see the list of tax refund receipts. On the receipt, you can check the list of items purchased, the amount refundable, and the status of your tax refund.
Shopping tab menu-this is where you can find nearby Tax Refundable Shoptrip merchants. You can also check the location, address, phone, business hours, and major products of the merchant.
