Spatial Vis Classroom

Students with strong spatial visualization skills can envision 2D and 3D shapes from any view and in relation to other shapes. These skills are necessary for STEM careers and can be improved through practice. Spatial Vis Classroom is an educational app that makes practice fun for students and measurable for instructors.

Spatial Vis Classroom has 10 unique lessons that contribute to the development of spatial visualization skills, including orthographic projections, 2D and 3D rotations, and flat patterns. Each lesson has a series of assignments that progress in difficulty. Students complete assignments by sketching their solution and submitting their sketch to be automatically graded. Students have access to help features if they get stuck, but Spatial Vis Classroom is gamified to encourage students to try on their own before using the help features.
