Introduction
------------

When it comes to important events, the question often arises: "How long has it actually been since ...?" or the question: "How long will it take until ...?" Time differences in days can usually still be estimated with good approximation. But the question of how many hours there are until your birthday or your next vacation cannot be overlooked so quickly and answered correctly at all times. Meetings can also be loosened up if, instead of the time in calendar weeks, the time in hours until the next milestone is discussed for a change. This app helps with all of these questions by calculating the time difference in different units.

Timespan
----------
TimeSpan is an application for calculating time intervals based on the current date. Many apps only show the difference in days. With this app it is possible to display the duration in other units such as seconds or hours. A combination of the units is also possible, for example in X days and Y seconds. The possibilities of this app can also be seen on the screenshots. TimeSpan was developed with SwiftUI for iOS and macOS.

Particularities
--------------
The two tabs Parts and Total Time contain the main functionality of TimeSpan. The program's display is usually updated once a second to be legible and up-to-date at the same time.

Main Functionality
------------------

### Parts

In the Parts tab, the time difference is shown combined with various units. This display can be configured in the Settings section. The time components of the hidden units are automatically added to the next smaller unit so that the display of the time difference is still correct.

### Total Time

On this tab, the time difference is displayed in different units at the same time. These are: weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds.

In the lower part below Settings, you can specify how many decimal places should be displayed for each unit.
