LIVEFEEL is a 360° immersive, AI-powered presentation technology with a live-like virtual audience of real (recorded) people (not avatars), who react in real-time to users’ performance. LIVEFEEL brings the stage and interactive audience experience right into the users’ hands, instead of users having to go train a presentation on a physical stage in front of an actual audience.

LIVEFEEL is designed as a 360° “spatial game player” in virtual reality (VR), powered by AI and rooted in communication science.

When the app is launched on the user’s smartphone in a pair of smartphone goggles, the user is immediately immersed “in the room” in front of the virtual audience.

The virtual audience reacts in real-time to the user’s vocal, verbal, and interactive (structure and attention) performance. The goal for the use, is to do so well on these measures, that the audience is “persuaded” to like the performance and the user. Thus, it is called the “Persuasion Game”. The emotional state of the audience is reflected on a 9-scale from “annoyed” (most negative) to “excited” (most positive) with a neutral centre.

In the app, users:

can set time for the session
can upload and click through their real slides (using a Bluetooth connected “clicker”). Slides are shown both on a user monitor and on a big screen inside the virtual room
get real-time “emotional” feedback from the audience in the form of body language, occasional verbal comments, and graphics which show both the current emotional state of the audience and the accumulated emotional score at any given time
control the session (start, stop, applause, exit) with their gaze
see duration, countdown to a set time, and number of slides (current / total)
get the audience’s applause, which reflects the quality and level of the user’s performance

Within minutes after finishing a game session, users get detailed analysis feedback about their performance. This is delivered in the browser.

covers parameters such as timing, attention, slides flow, vocal signals, and verbal performance (for instance use of certain words and syntax parameters)
Smart Scores, advice, and insights for the various categories
360° view Power Play where Users can re-watch the session on a 2D screen with comments and slides analysis overlaid
