The app uses the Session Type "Physical Therapy" to enable prolonged background operation and with the display off. This allows you to use voice assistant prompts, receive audio reminders about the end of the current interval, and transition to the next. When the timer is in the "Stop and Wait" mode or in extended rest mode (more than 30 seconds), proper background operation will preserve your progress. The app in its current version does not collect, store, display, or send any data (heart rate, step count, etc.).
