Apple HomePod Pre-Orders Begin in Australia, UK and US
Apple HomePod pre-orders are now being accepted in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Siri-based smart speaker was first announced last June at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
Apple HomePod pre-ordering is available via the Apple website with initial orders arriving on Friday, Feb 9. Available in black and white, the Apple HomePod will arrive in France and Germany this spring.
When it launches in two weeks, the Apple HomePod will be available at Apple and select Apple Authorized Resellers, including Best Buy in the U.S.; in the U.K. the smart speaker will launch at Argos, Dixons Carphone (Currys PC World), John Lewis, Shop Direct (Very and Littlewoods), EE; and Apple Premium Resellers; in Australia, you’ll find the new device at The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Myer, and Telstra.
