First Look at the New Apple ID Profile in Apple's iOS 10.3
There’s a new Apple ID Profile screen in iOS 10.3. The new feature recently debuted in the first iOS 10.3 beta sent to developers.
Find My AirPods and Theater Mode aren’t the only changes coming with iOS 10.3. The next software update for iPhone and iPad also includes a new Apple ID Profile in the Settings app.
In this section, available at the top of the Settings app screen, you’ll gain quick access to your contact information, security settings, and payment information. You’ll also see your settings for iCloud, App Store, and Family Sharing.
The Apple ID Profile page also includes details for all of the Apple devices that have used your Apple ID. Drilling down, each listing shows the device’s model, version, and serial number. It also contains Apple Pay information, where applicable.
Finally, there’s a new section at the top of the iCloud settings page where you’ll see a graphical breakdown of storage usage. From here, you can manage your iCloud storage as you currently do.
Other notable iOS 10.3 features include a new app ratings API, a floating iPad keyboard, changes to app animations, and more.
Apple is likely to release iOS 10.3 to the public this spring. In the meantime, we’ll be highlighting each of the iOS 10.3 beta versions as they’re released.
