Track Santa On His Christmas Eve Journey With These Tools
Here are some great apps to track Santa on his incredible journey around the world. Were you a good boy or girl this year?
NORAD Tracks Santa
Since 1955, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has been tracking Santa’s movements each year. You can see where the Jolly Fat Man is headed by downloading the official NORAD Tracks Santa title on the App Store. This is among the best apps to track Santa each year.
As noted on iTunes:
The NORAD Tracks Santa App is the official mobile app of the NORAD Tracks Santa program. Watch the days countdown to Santa’s flight, follow Santa’s progress on December 24, play ‘Thin Ice’ to help Santa’s elves deliver presents, and learn about NORAD and its mission.
If you don’t want to download the app, you can pay a visit to NORAD’s Santa Tracker website. It works on mobile Safari on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. For text updates, check out NORAD Santa on Twitter.
Google Santa Tracker
Another option for keeping an eye out for Saint Nicholas is the Google Santa Tracker, which has been in operation since 2004. There’s no app to download here, you just visit the site in mobile Safari.
We’ve included it here because the Google Santa Tracker offers games and historical information not found on other options.
Other options
The App Store offers other apps to track Santa. Among our favorites are the following:
Santa’s pretty sly, so you might notice that different trackers suggest the jolly elf is in separate locations. Just pick your favorite apps to track Santa, don’t worry about the details, and have fun.
