This terrific app covers most coastal areas of the United States and Puerto Rico. It encompasses the East and West Coasts, along with the Great Lakes, the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida. You can also view marine forecast information for Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. When you're in the app, any area within a green highlight is included in the coverage.
The developers say there's no need for saving favorites, because of how simple and fast the app is to use. It does save your most recently-viewed forecast for future viewing. However, it would be nice to have a way to save favorites. Many people go to different locations when they go boating, and having to locate that spot on the map would be time better spent getting ready for your excursion.
