Buy and Sell Between Friends on Flogg
A new way to sell those unused, unwanted items you have been stashing in your closet comes with the name Flogg. This app lets you connect with Facebook friends and locals in the community to both buy and sell items. So, whether you are looking to purchase a new pair of Jordan’s or get rid of that watch you never wore, Flogg lets you do it in a fun, social way.
Open and browse
When you open Flogg you will see products in the form of cards. Each shows a very brief description, the price, and the distance the seller is from your location. You can swipe left to discard or right to like. There are also buttons at the bottom to perform these actions easily.
Get details and chat
When you see an item that interests you, you can tap to get further available details. This includes the seller of the item; whose profile you can view by selecting their name. This will show you other items they listed and where they are located. If you want to make a purchase, you can contact the seller and you are on your way.
Share and recommend items
The app offers an easy way for you to share and recommend items to friends too. So, if you know that your buddy is looking for a specific item that you happen to see, let him know. Recommended items will show up to the friends you have on Flogg.
Interestingly, Flogg was created by a 16-year old from Syndey, Australia named Ben Pasternak. He is the CEO of Flogg, Inc. and runs the company from his living room in New York City. Modest of his recent success with the app, Pasternak told ABC News’ “Nightline”:
Everyone has hyped up what I’ve achieved, but I feel like I’m just getting started. I don’t feel like there’s anything to brag about what I’ve done.
