Customize Your iOS Listening With Colorized AirPods

In a Twitter announcement made Feb. 22, 2017, ColorWare announced the support for customizing AirPods. The company claimed it to be a difficult process, but one it was able to pull off.

Whether it’s your Apple gear, such as a Magic Trackpad 2 or even a MacBook Pro, or a video game console, ColorWare specializes in adding a splash of color to your life. The company provides customization services for a wide range of products, with tint options that run the entire color spectrum in both solids and metallics.

When you colorize your Apple AirPods, you can mix and match colors almost as much as you please. There are 58 different colors available, including solids and metallics. You can choose from either a gloss or a matte finish. What’s more, you can have your left AirPod a completely different color from the right. You can even colorize the charging case for your AirPods, picking a matching color or one widely different.

To do a full colorization of your AirPods and the charging case, you’ll spend around $319 USD. If you choose not to have the case painted, the cost of your customization will be $289. Shipping time is currently advertised as eight to 10 weeks. You’ll pay for shipping, too. For me, the estimated shipping cost was almost $18.
