Ecobee Switch+ Works With Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa
The ecobee Switch+ has officially been announced. The “smarter” light switch works with Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa and launches in the coming weeks in the United States and Canada.
First teased last summer, the ecobee Switch+ is the first smart light switch to come with built-in Amazon Alexa. Because of this, you can use the device to control the actual light switch and also operate other Alexa smart home devices with your voice.
Besides Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit, the ecobee Switch+ also works with IFTTT, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings.
The Switch+ looks interesting and we can’t wait to see one in action.
It’s available for pre-order starting today, March 13 in the United States (for $99) and Canada ($119). The product arrives on March 26.
