Get Involved in a Great Chat on Convoz
We all have opinions to share, on a wide variety of topics. We could post them on Facebook, but that's lost the personal touch. One of the best ways to really engage is through personal chats, using your camera and microphone, that others can reply to and ask questions on. Convoz is looking to provide that kind of environment for you.
When you first launch Convoz, the app asks for permission to access your camera and microphone. It also asks to send you notifications, to make you better aware of when great new conversations are happening.
Then you sign up for an account and get to browsing. You can use your Twitter account or email address to sign up. Once you're signed up, you can start browsing conversations or start your own.
You'll see a collection of featured Convoz on the top, and then a feed of active and recent ones you can choose from. There are plenty of topics, so feel free to jump right in.
Most of the conversations are kicked off by a short video, and people reply to the original poster with their own videos.
When you're ready to start your own conversation, it's easy. Just tap the camera icon, and start recording. You could script it, but maybe you want to just wing it instead. Whatever the case may be, you start your own conversation and then wait for others to chime in.
A great place to find and start conversations
If you're hoping to be able to search Convoz by topic, you'll be disappointed. The search mechanism only allows you to search for other users, not topics you might want to discuss.
It's nice that you can search for other users on Convoz, though. The best way to get involved in a discussion about a particular topic is to start your own conversation, and this is one way to do it.
If you find someone who you think might be similar to you, or vastly different from you, then you can start up a public conversation with that person straight from the search results.
Convoz provides a terrific community for sharing ideas. Some of the posts are funny, and some are very insightful. The canvas is blank, though, since you can easily add your own conversation to the mix.
It doesn't matter if you want to strike up a conversation about politics, religion, or even the worst job you've ever had. Convoz is a place for great conversations. You can make new friends, share ideas, and express yourself in a growing community.
