The iGrill 2 works by connecting to an app on your iPhone which displays a variety of information so you don’t have to stand in front of your food constantly. For example, if you were grilling chicken, you could pick the preset that would alert you when the chicken is done and then simply insert the thermometer and walk away. From there, the iGrill will keep track of the temperature and then alert you as you get closer to your finished cooking temperature.
What’s great about this version is that you can connect up to four temperature probes, meaning you can keep track of four different items via the thermometer itself or the app on your iPhone.
