On Federal Holiday, Apple Honors the Life of Martin Luther King Jr.
Today, Jan. 16, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States. Once again, Apple is celebrating the life of the civil rights icon on the company’s homepage.
The Apple website shows a photo of King alongside one of his famous quotes:
Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in.
At the same time Apple CEO Tim Cook has honored the slain leader via Twitter:
We honor #MLK by working to help achieve justice and equality. “We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.” pic.twitter.com/dVQfg3CTSd
