Apple usually only offers a 14-day window to return products. That window has been widened considerably for the holidays.
Apple’s extended Holiday Return Policy allows you to return items purchased after Nov. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 8. Normal restrictions still apply, however.
Products that cannot be returned include:
- Opened software
- Electronic Software Downloads
- Software Up-to-Date Program Products (software upgrades)
- Apple Store Gift Cards
- Apple Developer products (membership, technical support incidents, WWDC tickets)
- Apple Print Products
You can return products at any Apple Store, or complete the process through your Order Status page.
Only items that have been purchased directly from Apple, either online or at an Apple Retail Store, can be returned.
