New Watch Bands Shown at Apple’s iPhone X Event
At Apple’s iPhone X Event on Sept. 12, plenty of exciting updates were shared. Along with the announcements of the Apple Watch Series 3 and watchOS 4, came news of additional Apple Watch bands being added to the current lineup. What are they and how much do they cost? We have the details below.
Sport Loop Band
If you like the nylon bands offered by Apple, then check out the new Sport Loop band. It’s breathable, adjustable, has a hook-and-loop closure, and comes in the following eight colors for $49 each.
- Flash (bright yellow)
- Spicy Orange
- Electric Pink
- Midnight Blue
- Black
- Seashell
- Dark Olive
- Pink Sand
Sport Band
While the Sport Band has been around for some time, new colors are now available. Made of fluoroelastomer with a pin-and-tuck closure, each is also just $49. Here are the six new colors you can choose from.
- Rose Red
- Blue Cobalt
- Ultra Violet
- Dark Olive
- Soft White
- Gray
Nike Sport Band
If the Nike Sport Band is more your thing, there is one new color you might like. For $49, the Pure Platinum / Black option is sleek and stylish. These bands are also made of fluoroelastomer, but offer circular perforations for better breathability.

Woven Nylon Band
Back to the Woven Nylon, these fabric bands are durable and comfortable. Like the others, they are $49 each and there are nine new colors and styles.

Leather Band
For those who love the classic Leather Band and don’t mind spending $149, you now have additional color and style options too.

Hermès Leather Band
Finally, there are the Hermès Leather bands made from calfskin leather. The new Apple Watch Hermès Bordeaux Swift Leather Double Tour in 38mm only sells for $489 and the same color in Single Tour for both sizes is $339.
