Plan Ahead Now With Tomorrow - The Trust Fund for Everyone

July 25, 2017

Nobody likes to think about their death, but it's something that happens to all of us at some point. Planning for the future of our loved ones is essential. Being able to bring together all of your assets and belongings into a single place to easily create your will and living trust is a real help to that planning. That's precisely what Tomorrow - The Trust Fund for Everyone is designed to do.

When you install the app, it's pretty barren. You populate it by entering your own life details and contact information, which you can easily pull in from Contacts if you choose.

You'll also need to input details about your family, from your spouse to your children, trusted friends, and trusted advisors. Tomorrow uses this information to develop your last will and testament, as well as your living trust.

Speaking of those documents, Tomorrow helps you write those. Legal in 48 states, the trust and will documents produced by the app are easy to save and print.

The only "gotcha" is that once you enter one of the documents, it's not intuitive how to get out of it and back to the main app. Just pinch to zoom, and you'll snap back to the previous screen.

One of the nicest features of Tomorrow is its life insurance calculator. Figuring out how much insurance you should carry can be a true challenge, but Tomorrow breaks it down into a few questions.

Once you answer the questions and determine what type of coverage you want, the app allows you to choose from various providers and apply for life insurance in about five minutes.

The Tomorrow app is feature-rich and easy to use, which is something to brag about for an app that provides you with legal documents, for free, that are usable in almost all of the United States.

The only drawback I can see is that Tomorrow wants to spread itself almost virally to anyone you associate with it. The app tries to send an email or a text message to every person you add to your details, other than your minor children. This is little more than an annoyance, however, for all of the great functionality the app provides.

If you haven't drawn up your will or living trust, this is an excellent way to do it. The process is quick and painless, and the documents created are legal almost everywhere in the United States.
