Apple Begins Selling Refurbished 10.5-Inch iPad Pro Models
For the first time, Apple is selling refurbished 10.5-inch iPad Pro models via its online store in the United States and Canada. This news was first noted by MacRumors.
At the time of this writing, you can find around 20 refurbished 10.5-inch iPad Pro tablets, including Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular models. Compared to new models, these tablets are discounted around 15 percent.
In the U.S., you can purchase refurbished Wi-Fi models starting at $549. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at $659.
Like other Apple refurbished devices, the tablets are inspected, tested, cleaned, and repackaged with a new white box with all manuals and accessories. The company also replaces the device’s battery and outer shell.
Each refurbished 10.5-inch iPad Pro model comes with Apple’s standard one-year warranty, which can be extended up to two years with a $99 AppleCare + for iPad purchase.
First introduced in June 2017, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro model launched alongside the second-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro. It includes a display around 20 percent larger than Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad models.
