Subscribers to the streaming TV service can now watch the NBA TV app through the company’s Sports Extra pack. The add-on package is $5 per month for Sling Orange subscribers and $10 per month for Sling Blue subscribers.
Featuring more than 95 professional basketball games each season, NBA TV offers signature studio shows, original programming, and special events coverage. In addition to live games, NBA TV brings original programming like “Game Time,” breaking news, and events like NBA Global Games, NBA Draft, NBA Summer League, and more.
NBA games are also available on Sling TV via ESPN, ABC / ESPN 3 (Sling Orange only), TNT, and Fox Sports Networks (Sling Blue only in select markets).
Sling Blue is available for $25 a month and allows users to watch TV on more than one device simultaneously. Sling Orange, which only allows viewing on one device at a time, costs $20 a month.
Both options feature a number of the same channels and some exclusives. You can see the entire lineup comparison here. If interested, you can now subscribe to both options for $40 per month, a $5 discount.
On Apple TV
Sling TV arrived on Apple TV earlier this year. Some of the features include the My TV view that serves as the app’s home screen. You can get direct access to the most watched content along with picking up programs right where you left off.
With the Mini Guide, viewers can see all of the available live content without having to miss what they are currently watching.
The app also offers Siri remote dictation. That means you’ll be able to find a program, channel, or actor by just using your voice.
Along with the Apple TV, the app is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models.
Sling TV also works with Apple’s upcoming TV app service for tvOS and iOS.
