YouTube star SuperSaf TV has posted a new video in which he compares the photo and video quality of the Google Pixel XL against the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
The video covers different aspects of each camera including image, video, and focus quality, plus low-light performance, and image stabilization. To my surprise, the Pixel Xl held its own.
Given this is Google’s first attempt at creating smartphone hardware, I have to say that they’ve done an incredible job. When combined with unlimited full resolution photo storage, I think it’s safe to say that the Google Pixel offers the best photo experience of any phone on the market. As an iPhone user, this bums me out.
Regardless, I’m still happy with my iPhone 7. Also, iPhone 7 Plus users should take note: Portrait Mode, set to debut in iOS 10.1, is still unmatched, for now.
