Instagram hits a major milestone
There are now 500 million Instagram users who use the photo-sharing site monthly, according to Forbes. According to CEO Kevin Systrom, “It’s grown to be very global, which I believe comes from the fact that images are a universal language.”
First introduced in 2010, Instagram was purchased by Facebook less than two years later for $1 billion.
Big updates from Adobe
Adobe has announced some big software updates for its Creative Cloud desktop products. The changes mostly affect Adobe Stock and Adobe Photoshop. The San Jose, California-based company has yet to announce whether the changes are also arriving on the company’s iOS products.
Misfit announces the Speedo Shine
Just in time for summer, Misfit has announced a new Shine tracking device. The Misfit Shine 2 Swimmer’s Edition can be clipped to a swimsuit or snapped inside a plastic band you wear on your waist.
The new Shine is available to pre-order for $119.99.
