Fighting over the iPhone headphone jack
Over 300,000 people have signed a petition telling Apple to keep the standard headphone jack on the so-called “iPhone 7.” The move comes as rumors continue to suggest that Apple is removing the jack to make next-generation devices thinner. Apple opens another new store in China region
Cupertino continues to build and open new retail stores in China. The latest is the New Town Plaza outlet in the Sha Tin district of Hong King.
The new shop is Apple’s 46th in the Greater China region, according to 9to5Mac.
T-Mobile makes a move in Europe
From PCMag some great news for those traveling abroad this summer: “The self-proclaimed “un-carrier” is giving customers unlimited high-speed data, up to 4G LTE speeds, throughout Europe this summer (with the exception of Andorra), at no additional cost. The offer is available from July 1 through Aug. 31.”
