If you’re like me, and you hate big bulky cases on your iPhone but want to protect it from everyday scuffs and scratches, this is the case you should get. It is, without question, the thinnest iPhone 7 case you can buy.
I really dislike cases. I know that nearly 90 percent of iPhone owners use one, but something about the added bulk really bothers me. Cases annoy me so much that since owning the first-generation iPhone, I don’t think I’ve ever had a real case on my phone.
That said, I’m also someone who likes to keep my devices as pristine as I possibly can. I don’t know why, but I love knowing my phone is in really good shape, even after a year of use.
That’s where a new type of case has emerged.
The idea behind perfect fit cases is that they add almost no bulk but protect the back and the edges of your iPhone from getting scuffed and scratched from everyday objects like keys or pocket change.
With the iPhone 7 only being out for a couple weeks now, it’s not easy to find one of these cases, but I stumbled upon one on Amazon and decided to give it a try on both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Long story short: they’re awesome.
Tozo iPhone 7 Case back.
The cases fit incredibly snug. So snug that they add only 0.35mm of bulk to your iPhone 7. It’s so little that you can barely tell the difference between it and an iPhone without a case.
Camera cutouts offer some added protection
What’s also nice is the case offers a little bit of added protection to your camera lenses so that they’re less likely to get damaged or scratched. It’s not necessary, but I like it.
Cutouts for speakers and Lightning connector
The cutouts for the speakers and Lighting connector are extremely precise. To the naked eye, they fit perfectly. I also love that it wraps around the entire phone. There is no bottom opening like some other cases, including Apple’s own.
This is the Thinnest iPhone 7 Case
What’s also great is that the case doesn’t take much away from the curve on the edges of the phone. Most cases add a couple of millimeters in the event you drop your phone face-first. This case doesn’t. Of course, that means if you do drop it, you might break your display. That’s a risk I’m willing to take. Remember, I’m just trying to protect my iPhone’s body from everyday scuffs and scratches.
In the end, this case is not meant to protect your phone from serious drops. Rather, it’s a very thin layer intended to keep your phone looking good as you use it. Th case also adds a little bit of extra grip, something we all know iPhones could use.
The best part is that this case is currently just $9 on Amazon. It’s available for the regular iPhone 7 and, of course, the iPhone 7 Plus. Both are shipping via Prime, so if you order one today, you can have it in just a couple days.
