Bridgy Jones and his pet dog have to transport their cargo across rivers, ravines, and chasms. They have a limited set of tools and materials that can be used to build bridges. If a bridge isn’t strong enough, their train won’t make it to the other side.

Bridgy Jones is one of the best designed 2-D games in the App Store. The colors are rich, the graphics are detailed, and everything just looks perfect.

The idea of building virtual bridges isn’t new and the aim of the game is easy enough to understand. The tutorial is still worth going through so you know exactly how each tool works.

Once you’ve mastered your tools and you’ve built a few smaller bridges, you will face bigger, more complicated challenges. Unless you’re a genius, you’ll eventually design a bridge that isn’t strong enough to carry the weight of your train.

The good news is that when your bridge fails, you don’t have to start building it again from scratch. You can just make a few necessary changes, then try again. This encourages you to continue working on your bridge until your train gets to where it needs to be. If your bridge is hopeless, you can decide to start again if you want to.
