Guide These Friendly Ants Back To Safety With Sugar Me

Sugar Me (Free) by GAMEADU is a puzzle game that involves ants, sugar cubes, and various other creatures.

The ants want to find the big sugar cubes and take them back to their colony, but they have no sense of direction. You have to guide them by drawing lines of sugar for them to follow. You need to make sure they avoid beetles, spiders, wasps, or anything dangerous.

Every ant has to survive for you to pass the level, so you have to keep an eye on all of the ants that are roaming around aimlessly.

Sugar Me is badly designed and is not even optimized for the iPhone 5′s larger screen. The graphics look blurry and it just doesn’t look great overall.

Thankfully, the gameplay helps make up for the blurry graphics. The first couple of levels are quite boring, but once there are more ants to control, things get more interesting.

While trying to guide one ant to a sugar cube, another might come out of the ant hole and start crawling into a danger zone. You have to constantly move all of the ants around to ensure they are safe. To guide an ant, you touch it, then drag your finger towards where you want it to go.

You have to try to collect as many stars as possible while making sure the ants get all of the sugar cubes. All of this, combined with the various power-ups available, means you always have plenty to think about while playing Sugar Me.

This game is certainly not as easy as I first thought it would be. You have to concentrate on every part of the level to ensure all of the ants survive.

While the gameplay helps make up for the low quality graphics and bad design, the overall experience isn’t good enough to make Sugar Me worth recommending.
