Zombies vs. Steamroller + Bulldozer : Puppy Rescue 3D Racing Simulator (Free) by Sharkweed, LLC is a zombie game that doesn’t rely on classic weapons to take care of the job. This app has something different in store for you. During an apocalypse, sometimes you just want to mow down every zombie in your path with a huge vehicle. In this case, you can choose between a steamroller and a bulldozer.

The game takes place in a creepy graveyard. You choose which vehicle you want to drive, and you start to make your way around the gravestones and mausoleums. As you drive, zombies are drawn to you, and you can run them over. In order to complete the level, there is a specific number of zombies that you have to squish.

You also have to save puppies. Personally, I would have been happy with a steamroller and a huge field to kill zombies in. However, in this game, there’s the added challenge of a rescue mission on top of the required zombie kill count.

Once you’ve hit all the zombies and saved the puppies, you can return back to your base. The challenge is that the level is timed. If you run out of time before you are able to make it back to the base, then the game is over.

There are four different levels and a bonus level. You need to beat the first four levels before you can have access to the bonus level. Each level requires you to kill more zombies and rescue more puppies. The time restraints change to allow for the extra zombies and puppies.

There are ads that pop up in the beginning when you open the main menu. They also come up sometimes when you die and begin a new level. However, the ads don’t run while you play the game.

If you’ve ever wanted to take a massive vehicle and plow through zombies that are shambling along in your path, then this is a great app to try. There’s no ammo to worry about. You just have to be able to steer around the gravestones. For those who have a soft spot, there are puppies that you can save.
