Last Tuesday, Rovio posted an image of a rubber ducky on the official Angry Birds Facebook page. Rather cryptically, the image was captioned, “Coming soon. (Quack!)”

Now, exactly what that image was teasing has been revealed: a brand new, watery episode of Angry Birds Space:

SPLASH! The Angry Birds have landed in the weirdest galaxy yet! All the planets are filled with water, strange aquatic life and worst of all — Bad Piggies in boats! Use the unique physics of these water planets to set up some fun trick shots! Also, check out the brand-new power-ups: Flock of Birds, Space Egg, and Pig Puffer! HINT: Make sure to check how Ice Bird and Pig Puffer react to water!

The acclaimed “spaceyedition of Angry Birds has just received an update, which brings a new episode punningly called Pig Dipper.

If you can’t see the video embedded above, please click here.

Pig Dipper offers 30 new levels of physics-based puzzling goodness. What’s more, “the ultimate underwater boss level” awaits in this episode.

Three new bonus levels are also set to emerge from the watery depths of the game once you three-star all of the regular levels.

Apart from the new episode, new power-ups are also delivered by the latest update to Angry Birds Space.

There’s the Flock of Birds power-up, which proves that there is indeed destructive strength in numbers.

There’s the Space Egg, which lets you create supermassive black holes.

And then there’s the Pig Puffer, which, if nothing else, answers the important question, “Do bad piggies sink or float?”

You can check back daily on Angry Birds Space for a free power-up. Additionally, you can compete for supremacy in the new leaderboards specially created for power-ups.

Angry Birds Space for iPhone and Angry Birds Space HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
