Sega's Sonic Dash Endless Runner Gains Facebook Integration And New Missions

June 11, 2013
Sonic Dash, the iOS endless running game starring Sega's famous running video game character, has run into another major update. This new update is easily highlighted by the addition of Facebook integration to Sonic Dash. With this new feature, you can now compete with your Facebook friends, in addition to your Game Center friends. Make sure to beat their best scores for you to earn more rewards. But what if you want to beat your own score? Well, you better complete missions to increase your score multiplier. And now, you can up your score multiplier all the way to x20 by completing 15 new Sonic Dash missions. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The latest update to Sonic Dash also includes new hint messages, balancing of obstacles, main menu design tweaks, and bug fixes. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Sonic Dash is available now in the App Store. Released in early March, the game used to be priced at $0.99. But it's been downloadable without charge since it went free less than a month after its launch. Note, though, that it offers in-app purchases for various power-ups and upgrades.
