Escape The Inferno In Hellcrossing, A Fiery Fun Runner For iOS

It might sound bleak, but hellcrossing -- a recently launched runner -- situates players in the depths of Hell and provides one chance (well, lots of chances actually) for gamers to escape. But the route isn't safe, the journey certainly won't be easy, and you'll need quick reactions in order to succeed.
Optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, hellcrossing is available to download on the App Store free of charge. It's an ultra-minimalistic title, for sure, offering an endless runner that doesn't feature power-ups, extra lives, enemies, or boss battles. "There is only the pure skill of your fingers and your reflexes," developer Martin Ysa explains in the app's release notes.
In terms of design, gamers appear to be running along a white board in hellcrossing, and this board is surrounded by the flames of Hell (represented in block colors, and featuring fire balls and black towers). As you'd expect, your path breaks up at points and you'll need to run, jump, and dodge in order to continue on your route.
To control your runner in hellcrossing, simply touch left or right of the screen to turn, and touch both sides at the same time to jump. It couldn't be easier. Along the top of the screen you'll also find a point score that increases the longer you run.
In order to enjoy hellcrossing on your iOS device, you'll need to be running iOS 4.3 or above (no pun intended).
As mentioned, hellcrossing is available to download free of charge on the App Store, and it's optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you're a fan of the genre, this could be a game worth checking out.
