Stacks 2.0 lets you convert currencies right within Safari and Notification Center in iOS 8
The “new age” currency conversion app Stacks has been updated to version 2.0 with several significant new features and improvements.
Most notable among them is the app’s new iOS 8 extension that allows you to convert amounts on webpages from one currency to another right within Safari.
There’s also a new Today widget that lets you quickly convert currencies and check denominations right within the Notification Center in iOS 8.

Stacks 2.0 also features a built-in calculator for quicker amount entry, an improved design, and language support for French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
The latest update to Stacks also adds universal support for iPad to the app, which was previously optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only. It also brings native resolution support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Stacks was released and hailed as AppAdvice’s App of the Week late last year.
It’s created by WapleStuff, the same developer behind the calculator app Calzy and the purchase tracker Pick.
