Thrillcall Live Music goes 4.0 with design refresh and new features

December 31, 2014

Thrillcall Live Music, the app touted as “your aid for live events” for its show browsing, artist tracking, and ticket purchasing capabilities, is welcoming the new year with a bang — with a huge surprise update, that is.

Released in February 2012, Thrillcall hasn’t been updated since July last year … until now, with the release of the app’s big 4.0 update.

First and foremost, Thrillcall 4.0 features a new look and feel in line with the visual style of iOS 7 and iOS 8.

In iOS 8, Thrillcall 4.0 also features a new Today widget that highlights concerts tonight by your tracked artists and recommended shows based on your preferences.

The newly updated app also boasts integration with Facebook and popular music services including iTunes, Spotify, Rdio, Last.fm, and Pandora, enabling you to get concert alerts and recommendations based on your listening activity.

Thrillcall 4.0 also boasts the following new features:

  • See all your Tracked Artists in the App. Add and remove bands from your Tracked Artists.
  • Concert Calendar of all your upcoming Tracked & Recommended live music shows.
  • How far will you go for a concert? Set a distance around your city for concert information.
  • Search for live music shows by date, location and artist name.
  • Better sharing capabilities to let your friends know about concerts and live music offers.
  • The Thrillcall App now accepts PayPal.

The release notes for Thrillcall 4.0 mentions support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as being included in the update. But the app is actually not yet optimized for the said devices.

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Thrillcall 4.0 is available now on the App Store for free.

With the release of Thrillcall 4.0, Thrillcall Offers, including access to exclusive live music events and ticket giveaways, have also been made available in cities all over the U.S., with other cities around the world to follow soon.
