Time Inc. has just released a new iOS app called The Daily Cut.

Featuring content from the newly launched website of the same name, The Daily Cut showcases videos from the aforementioned publishing company’s popular brands.

Essentially, it offers a one-stop shop for video content from Time, Sports Illustrated, People, Instyle, Entertainment Weekly, Real Simple, Golf, Cooking Light, Southern Living, Fortune, Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, Essence, and other Time Inc. brands.

The app presents editorially curated featured content along with new and trending videos for you to enjoy. It also lets you browse videos based on your interests through content verticals including News, Sports, Entertainment, Life & Home, Food, Fashion, Technology, and Originals.

Notably, videos continue playing even as other content is being browsed in the app.

Of course, The Daily Cut also lets you collect and share your favorite videos.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, but not yet optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, The Daily Cut is available now on the App Store for free.

I really like what Time Inc. has done with The Daily Cut, offering a library of video content from various channels run by the publisher’s various brands. Indeed, the app makes for less searching and more streaming.
