Now, in the latest version of the app (1.4.1-1), Ryan Petrich has added support for the Netflix iOS app (and other applications that support native output), support for the HDMI adapter and high definition screen mirroring (at 720p).

If you haven't heard of WhatsApp Messenger, this handy iPhone app allows users to message other smart phone owners for free. It's a great application, and one I've been using for a while. Indeed, the only limitation is that there's no WhatsApp iPad app, which is a shame. Fortunately, one jailbreak developer has managed to port the iPhone app over, and will be releasing WhatsPad (the iPad version of WhatsApp) in the Cydia Store soon.

The online jailbreak solution JailbreakMe has the ability to “liberate” a variety of iOS devices, including the iPad 2. But in the process, the Web-based jailbreak also screws a few things up, namely Apple’s Camera Connection Kit.
