Apple has just made a number of its apps – the iWork suite, GarageBand, and iMovie – free for all users to download on the App Store.
Free for everyone
Previously, users could download the apps for free if they purchased an iOS device since October 2013. But making all of the apps completely free should help make them available to more iPhone and iPad users.
If you haven’t downloaded the apps, the iWork suite – Pages, Numbers, and Keynote – is definitely useful. All three apps were updated in late March with a number of new features including Touch ID support for protected documents and more.
All of the Mac apps have also been made free for all users. Those can be downloaded now on the Mac App Store.
