Minecraft, the crazy-successful hit game from Swedish developer, Mojang, is now available on your Apple TV.

So, if you haven’t gotten the Minecraft fever on your Mac, Xbox One or PlayStation 4, or iOS device, you can grab this amazingly great open-world sandbox game for your big screen TV, powered by Apple TV.

Minecraft allows a huge deal of freedom, letting you dig and gather resources, and then use these things to craft a massive number of buildings, items, weapons and more.

This is amazing news, especially as it brings Minecraft to an estimated 25 million installed Apple TVs around the world.

Minecraft, originally developed by Markus “Notch” Persoon, is like a virtual lego set with infinite variety. You can explore vast worlds, build amazing structures and environments, and even play mini games with your friends.

The game has won a ton of awards, and over 106 million copies have been sold across all platforms. There’s an estimated 40 million unique users each month, too.

The Apple TV version of Minecraft can only help these numbers climb ever higher. It’ll be interesting to see how the team has implemented Apple TV’s Siri Remote to work within the game.
