Players help an adorable glob of cell goo called Cyto who has lost his memories. Your job is to help him find the lost memory fragments by shooting him at them on each level. The more memories you find, the more he remembers and unlocks worlds for you.

To collect Cyto’s memories, touch and drag his gelatinous body as if you were pulling back on a rubber band. You can aim his landing by rotating around on his current cellular platform. Once you’ve got the right angle, let go and he will fly toward his target and, hopefully, gather up his blobs of memories.

Cyto can only move from one cell to another. He sticks to cells by attaching to connectors on the outside wall. If you want to move him from one cell to another, make sure to aim for a connector or he will fall off and you will have to restart the level.

The main goal is to get Cyto to the portal, but each level has three memories. If you collect enough of them, you’ll help Cyto remember important things from his past and unlock new worlds at the same time.

This is a typical physics-based puzzle game, but the graphics are really classy and the audio is well placed. The soundtrack is interesting and Cyto makes cute noises, like humming and yawning.

The levels are challenging, but not frustrating. You can make it to the portal fairly easily, even if you can’t get all three memories on each level. If you are having a particularly tough time, you can skip a level. However, you’ll need a certain number of memories in order to unlock new worlds, so don’t skip too often. If you want to cheat, you can unlock all of the levels for only $0.99.

If you are a fan of physics-based puzzle games, this fits right in with the genre. The game is reasonably priced at only $0.99 and the levels are challenging without being so difficult that you give up in frustration. You can download it from the App Store today and help little Cyto get his memories back
