Biogen SMA Exercise App

With this application, we hope to provide tips for people living with the neuromuscular disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). It is aimed at children and adults living with SMA. But also, other people around them who are involved in their care.

The app consists of exercises that can be done in the home environment.
These exercises have been chosen based on level of function and age. The functional levels used are whether the person living with SMA can sit with or without support, and whether they have the ability to walk independently (non-sitters, sitters and walkers). 
The exercises are also aimed at certain ages but can of course be used if you are older or younger if the movement needs to be trained.

The proposed exercises are not a substitute for professional physiotherapy but provide examples of exercises that can be performed at home after discussing with your physiotherapist.
