App Store Description

Bright Wall/Dark Room is a new monthly film magazine focused on gathering personal and creative responses to films; a different lens on the medium, if you will. We offer up original, intelligent, engaging, and unique coverage of all kinds of films, new and old alike, aimed at providing an immersive and enjoyable reading experience.

We publish 8-10 medium-length articles and essays each and every month (as well as the occasional poem or short humor piece) on a wide variety of films and film-related topics, generally aimed at film lovers, fans of non-fiction essay writing, and curious folks looking for a different way to interact with movies and culture.

Bright Wall/Dark Room is entirely independent, built from the ground up by a handful of passionate people. We run no ads and receive no outside support or influence. We are funded entirely and only by our subscribers, so please consider subscribing and become a part of our vibrant and growing community today.

Bright Wall/Dark Room is a free download that includes a free issue. After that you can subscribe at $1.99 per month or $19.99 for a yearlong subscription. To read issues from before your subscription began, you must pay for them individually at $1.99 per issue.

When you become a subscriber, you can download any issue published while your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, you will still be able to read the issues published while you were an active subscriber.
