CarbonCapt is an app that empowers Cambodian communities to measure the carbon stock in their protected forests. Through this user-friendly application, communities have the opportunity to actively participate in preserving the forest for a greener planet. By purchasing carbon through the CarbonCapt app, they can support ongoing conservation efforts and contribute to sustainable practices.
Initiated in 2023, this project is a collaborative effort between Oxfam and the Ministry of Environment. Its primary focus is to provide communities with a powerful tool like CarbonCapt, enabling them to accurately measure carbon stock and actively engage in environmental preservation.
