At CarTag we believe smarter cars, powered by an innovative public network, can create safer streets and stronger communities. It will allow users to protect the people, property and places we all care about.

CarTag allows ANY user to communicate in real time with the owner or operator of ANY vehicle registered with the CarTag platform and equipped with a CarTag QR Code - securely and anonymously using their smartphone.

Simply register an account with CarTag and help us a build a stronger, safer community. Users may prevent and help avoid common vehicle problems such as:
Parking Violations & Towing
Vehicle Theft
Hit & Runs
Breakdown and Abandoned Vehicle Removal
Stolen Vehicle Identification and Recovery
Emergency Repairs and Maintenance of City Streets

KEY FEATURES INCLUDE:

Vehicle Registration:
Register your vehicle with the CarTag platform to receive notifications regarding your vehicle. You will receive a CarTag QR code to place directly on your vehicle. Notifications may come from other drivers, good samaritans and members of your community. Example notifications may include:

“Your car is about to be ticketed or towed.”
”There is a power line down and the power company is requesting residents move their vehicles.”
”Your vehicle was involved in a hit & run and I have a picture of the car that hit you.”
”Your car has a broken window or was otherwise a victim of a theft.”

Send Notifications:
Open the app to quickly scan the QR code of a CarTag registered vehicle and then send them a secure, anonymous notification. Users may send each other messages, images and/or videos.

Receive Notifications:
All notifications sent and received are completely anonymous. Your name and contact information is NEVER provided to another user. QR codes are small and discrete and can only be accessed by another user standing next to your vehicle.

Users may block or reject notifications.

Unwanted or malicious notifications may be reported to CarTag support for review.

Report feedback from all notifications, positive or negative, and help us build a better platform for our communities.

Refer a friend, family member or others in your community. New users enjoy a free trial period.

Contact CarTag customer support directly via email.

Subscription Management:
Manage your vehicle subscription. Users who choose not to register a vehicle may use the app for FREE to contact other vehicle owners/operators in their community. Users registering their vehicle may choose a monthly or annual subscription. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

Your Privacy
CarTag is a trusted environment where all users are verified and known to CarTag, but messages between drivers are anonymous. Users can feel comfortable communicating issues without sharing your personal data or identity.
