What is it about?

Our app aims to imporove the co-ordination between TUG and Pilots. A TUG is a type of vessel that maneuvers other vessels by pulling or pushing them by the means of a tow line. A Pilot is a sailor who maneuvers ships through dangerous or congested waters, such as harbors or river mouths. Each Pilot will be assigned a job and the number of required TUGs . Our app will help improve this co-ordination betwen TUGs and Pilots by providing them accurate information about eachothers whereabouts. It will inform the TUG when the pilot has accepted the job , has started the job , when the pilot is on board the vessel, when the Pilot has reached tugpoint , when the pilot has reached bouypoint and when the pilot has finished the job. Similarly it will provide information about the Pilots whereabouts to the assigned TUGs.
