What is it about?

SoundSpace is an AR experience producing ambisonic soundscapes formed through immersive narratives and playful interactions tied together with a strong AV universe. The demo is a deep experience, as you explore the virtual space through your device the universe is built up around you. On your journey, you encounter new forms and sounds, audio-reactive galaxies, and stars. The instruments visualized as planets materialize in front of you, playing out their sounds, using the Resonance Audio plugin to Make it feel real. Their orbiting moons are abstract controllers to modulate their sound, allowing you to gain agency within the environment. Moving through space the soundscape emerges around you, creating compositions and harmonies of sound and visual. Your passage carves your own narrative, moving away from pre-constructed narratives and into a nonlinear milieu. So far this is one level or composition produced in collaboration with Izzy Nahkla.
