What is it about?
Datac is a data acquisition program that uses the audio jack of your iOS device for signal input. The main display provides a real-time view of the raw samples obtained by the device. The application was used to evaluate an interface to a car's electrical tachometer signal, and so it contains another view containing a plot of detected RPMs. There is also support for recording of the raw input signals to an audio file on the iOS device. Recorded signals may be accessed directly from the device through iTunes, or optionally via Dropbox.
