EV Speedo

EV Speedo will calculate the accuracy of the speedo in your car or any vehicle. In some cars the speedo on the dash is inaccurate, this app will give you an idea of the difference between the true GPS speed and the speed that your car displays.

This app uses the metric system.

This application works on iPhones and iPads with cellular, because it requires a GPS. It will not work on a WiFi only iPad.

To use the app, simply press the Set Speed button when driving at a constant speed in 20km increments. Always use a phone holder or get a passenger to use the app.

The results are displayed as a percentage; 90% means that the cars speedo is 10% higher than the actual speed. Results between 90% and 100% are typical. If you are getting results over 100%, then you are moving faster than the car reports, which is not desirable.
