Fear of Fog

Fear of Fog was developed by Alex Shepard, a student at San Francisco Art Institute. It is an experiment in geocaching, virtual reality and story-based gaming.

It is a role-playing/adventure game that takes place in the city of San Francisco, California, USA. This game is inspired by, and an homage to, my early gaming experiences playing role playing games with my brother on our Apple //c in the 1980s, and by the text-based MUDs and MUSHes that I found on the Internet in the 1990s.

In this game, you will travel around historic San Francisco, interacting with strange creatures and exploring the odd corners of the city. There is no combat or fighting in Fear of Fog: it's a game of exploration and conversation.
