Gears.Beer Drop In Hockey
What is it about?
At Gears.Beer we strive for the perfect activity to work up a thirst. Ice Hockey is hard to beat, but the value of a drop in skate varies with the mix of players and their willingness to follow certain ethics.

This app has been developed after years of research into creating the perfect skate.
Within the app you set your drink preference which will be in the locker room after the skate on ice. The skate will be as evenly divided as possible into two teams, white and dark. A coach is assigned the task of setting up the teams and your jersey assignment is displayed on the skate list.
The basics are covered by the organizer, by making sure there are two goalies, water bottles on the bench and plenty of pucks.
Prior to being able to book a spot within the skate, you must be approved by the organizer. We are very protective of our core group of skaters that participate throughout the year. A new skater is on probation for the first few skates before being offered to upgrade to Grinder. Skaters have access to book ice time 14 days out, where Grinders can set up their ice time for the season in advance.
Currently the Gears.Beer group skates on Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 pm until 9 pm during the winter and drops to Wednesday only during the late spring and summer months. All ice time is at Crystal Fieldhouse in Burton, MI currently.
