HomeSolo allows users to check on relatives, parents, children, or friends who live alone through automatic alerts that are sent at a pre-determined time each day. The user simply presses a large "check-in" button on the home page at the designated check-in time (set by the user). If the user misses a check-in, the selected contact is notified after 10 minutes by text, and by a phone call after 20 minutes.
