GOAL
 
• Allow companies, online stores, schools, clubs, associations and municipalities to issue Multibanco or MBWAY References in their documents or website, which can be paid on the Multibanco network, Homebanking, MB SPOT, Mobile Phones or TPAs.

PAYMENT CHANNELS/METHODS
 
Our multibanco references can be paid in any of the following channels (payment for services/purchases option):
 
• ATM Terminals: there are thousands of ATM terminals spread across the country;

• Homebanking: Comfortably at home on bank websites;

• MB SPOT: through MB SPOT channels and partner network;

• Bank Cards: currently there are more than 19 million MB cards, 98% of which are co-branded with leading international systems such as Visa, MasterCard or American Express;

• Mobile phones: through MB Phone or TeleMultibanco, which turns your mobile phone into an ATM terminal;

• Mobile phones: through the iOS application offered by the main banks operating in Portugal;

• Physical or virtual POS: through the payment option for services/purchases;

• MBWAY

• Credit card
 

HOW IT WORKS
 
1. Data for payment via Multibanco, MB WAY or Credit Card are available according to the amount to be paid on your online sales website, in your traditional paper documents, in your customer area, in the ifthenpay app, etc. .;
 
2. Your customer pays at an ATM, Homebanking, MB Spot, Mobile Phone, TPA, MBWAY;
 
3. Immediately after payment, ifthenpay sends you an e-mail notification of confirmed payments (you can also consult in realtime on the internet, on your mobile phone, via webservice or callback);
 
4. ifthenpay transfers the payment amount daily minus the cost of the service;
 
5. Monthly we send an Invoice/Receipt with the value of the services provided, a monthly statement of payments received and proof of transfers made;
